The Nifty LargeMidcap 250 combines the Nifty 100 (large companies) and the Nifty Midcap 150, with large and mid-sized companies carrying about half the weight each.

What it means for investors. It is the benchmark for Large & Mid Cap funds, which must hold at least 35% each in large and mid-sized companies, so it shows the market those funds are measured against.
