Fund manager tenure

How long the longest-serving current manager has run the scheme.

What it measures

Most schemes list more than one fund manager. MFIC's tenure is the number of years since the longest-serving current manager started managing the scheme, from the dates in the Scheme Summary Document.

In MFIC

Each scheme's Fund Manager tab lists all current managers, their roles and start dates, and the other schemes each one manages, with 3-year returns beside the category median. Every manager also has a page under Fund managers.

How to read it

A scheme's long-term record says more about the current team when the team has been in place for most of that record. Returns before a manager joined are not theirs.

Limitations

Names are matched as written in the documents; changes are recorded by MFIC from October 2026 onwards.
