Objective: The objective of the Scheme is to seek to provide investment returns that, before expenses, closely track the performance of domestic prices of Gold. However, the performance of the Scheme may differ from that of the underlying gold due to tracking error. There can be no assurance or guarantee that the investment objective of the Scheme will be achieved. The Scheme is not actively managed. The Scheme may also participate in Exchange Traded Commodity Derivatives (ETCDs) with gold as underlying.
Stated asset allocation: • Gold bullion and instruments with Gold as underlying that may be specified by SEBI = 95%-100% • Debt & Money Market Instruments including units of Debt oriented Mutual Funds* = 0%-5%
Benchmark (tier 1): Domestic Prices of Gold
Minimum application: On Stock Exchanges: Investors can buy/sell units of the Scheme in round lot of 1 unit and in multiples thereof. Directly with the Mutual Fund: Investors can buy or sell units of the scheme in creation unit size and its multiples. Furthermore, any application by investors, other than Market Makers, must be for an amount exceeding INR 25 crores. However, the aforementioned threshold of INR 25 crores shall not apply to investors falling under the following categories (until such time as may be specified by SEBI/AMFI): a. Schemes managed by Employee Provident Fund Organisation, India; b. Recognised Provident Funds, approved Gratuity funds and approved superannuation funds under Income Tax Act, 1961. All direct transactions in units of the Scheme by eligible investors with the AMC/the Fund shall be at intra-day NAV based on the actual execution price of the underlying portfolio.
